• ALAN SPRAGINS, JD

    Alan serves as Brighton Jones’ Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel, and focuses on the firm’s alternative investment strategies, operations, and compliance work. Along with Jeremy Kiefer, Alan also manages four limited partnerships focused on real estate, growth capital, and venture capital.

    Prior to joining Brighton Jones, Alan was a member of Lake Union Capital Partners, a buyout firm focused on turnaround acquisitions, where he led portfolio companies through operational restructuring, contract renegotiations, and litigation settlement, among other things.

    Alan has served in leadership roles for a large financial institution, a mid-cap technology and manufacturing company, a software company, a buyout investment firm, as well as accounting and consulting firms. His roles have included private practice, mergers and acquisitions, in-house general counsel, Vice President of Business Development, Executive Director of Supply Chain, and C-level positions, including CFO and COO.

    Alan earned his Bachelors of Accountancy and J.D. from the University of Mississippi and his LL.M. degree from New York University.
