May 19, 2016 – Local wealth management firm will operate from larger space in Old Town Scottsdale

Brighton Jones, a unique wealth management firm that is fueled by a deep understanding of the people it serves, has relocated its Scottsdale offices from the Kierland area to Old Town to accommodate its recent growth.

The firm, which provides investment advisory, financial planning, tax and estate planning and retirement plan services, will operate from a 2,500 square foot, Class 1A office space, located at 4237 N. Craftsman Court in the Scottsdale Arts District. Brighton Jones will occupy Suite 200, located above Craftsman Court Ceramics.

“As a growing firm, we’ve recently hired several new, talented team members and with that growth came the need for a bigger space,” said Kory Leadon, CFP® and Lead Advisor in the Scottsdale office. “We were looking for space that showcases our culture, allows our people to excel and most importantly, helps us to better serve our clients. The new space offers all of that and more.”

The new office is centrally located in Old Town, making it easily accessible for the firm’s clients living in both North Scottsdale and the South end. It is within walking distance of the Arts District, Scottsdale Waterfront, Civic Center Park, Fifth Avenue Shopping District and Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West.

“We have always tried to create a memorable experience when we meet with current and perspective clients,” Leadon continued. “Now that we’re located in Old Town and so close to so many restaurants shops, museums and art galleries, we will be able to offer a better experience to our partners. This move is the natural next step for our business and will benefit our clients, our community and give us an opportunity for continued growth.”

Leadon is actively involved in the Scottsdale community, serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Ballet Arizona. He has also volunteered his time with Camp Erin Tucson/Phoenix, a bereavement camp for children and teens who are grieving the death of someone close to them. In addition, Brighton Jones holds an annual local fundraising campaign for Toys for Tots.

Leadon and his team primarily serve professionals, young families and corporate retirees in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix metro area. Acting as a client’s Personal CFO, Brighton Jones creates a personalized strategic plan that takes into account all facets of your personal life and how they impact your financial picture. The firm strives to help clients define and live a richer life.

Based in Seattle with offices in Portland, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., Brighton Jones opened its Scottsdale office in 2010 and has grown to six people. In addition to Leadon, current staff includes CFPs Tim Amen and James Taylor, while Grant Lyon, Mike Ferdinando and Whitney Johnson support business development, partner relations and client service efforts.
