How do I help our clients live a richer life?
Helping others has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family says that helping others is in my DNA. From receiving the “Most Inspirational” award in sports to being recognized with the Angel Award for volunteering the most hours during my time living in Germany (while preparing personal tax returns), I’ve always gravitated to helping others.

I am fortunate to have been helping others achieve their financial goals and navigate life’s obstacles for the past 20+ years. This passion for helping others is closely aligned with the BJ core values which is why I’m so grateful to call BJ home since we returned from Germany in 2012.

One thing that I love about the role is the opportunity to help others navigate life events and general obstacles that always seem to come up.

How do I align my time and money with my values and passions to Live a Richer Life?
Spending time with my family outdoors is where my passions and values intersect. Whether we are playing street hockey, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, or hosting a BBQ, as long as we are outside together, that is all that is important. The intersection of how I spend my time and money is met through my kids playing year-round hockey. I enjoy making great memories through the weekly practices or traveling to weekend tournaments as a family. I appreciate the little moments of laughter and jokes associated with long road trips. Realizing that spending time inside a hockey rink is opposite to my passion for the outdoors, my weekly goal is to spend an equal amount of time outside that I spend inside a hockey rink. When we are not at home playing, my family loves to experience the many adventures associated with international travel. Our passion for international travel was fostered by living in Europe for three years (2010 to 2012). I feel very fortunate to have visited incredible locations, met incredible people, and experienced various cultures. My wife and I are excited to hopefully inspire our kids to chase this passion for themselves someday.
